The spring sunshine brought out the work party today, and after much wood moving , 53 is balanced on a level plane! We missed Allan Marriott, our Brunel of general engineering, but eventually we shuffled wood and concrete around, so 53 is laying evenly. Nice weather today, and John the farmer popped over for a chat.

Work party next Saturday, the 24th, which will be Lift Two! By the end of the day, we hope to have 53 ready for the real work. We have had a kind offer from the Southampton gents to see their tram 57, anyone for a group visit?, Trust side of things is moving forward. Will confirm AGM shortly, please get there if you can.
We are booked for the 21st of April, at the Model rail exhibition at Parish Hall, Princes Road, Eastbourne, East Sussex BN23 6HT. Opening times are 10am till 4.30pm.
