Though not strictly a tram event, I thought I would share a few pictures of a recent trip to Hornby world. Hornby now own Airfix and Scalelectrics. Though a little out of town, it is well worth a visit, great train layouts and a lot of history on the various brands. There is a superb display of continental locos, such as Lima, etc. The shop is very well stocked. We stayed in Ramsgate which once had a 3 foot 6" tramway connecting it to Margate and our hotel was above the famous tunnel railway which once used the former main line tunnel to a long closed beach station. There is tram history every where you look! Don't forget we are at the BMRC exhibition next weekend at Patcham Library, see you there...
