AGM.

A very good meeting today.Most agenda subjects were covered, and a group will refine the new constitution, so that by the 31st of May, we can apply to become a registered charity.The whole set up of trustees, etc, will be finalised, and the revised document will be sent to all members, with a detailed set of minutes. I will undertake the revised agreement between ourselves and John, he did volunteer to become a trustee, and then we can really move on to the next level of the project! The only point not discussed was insurance on the site for those working, can anyone help on this, which companies,cost,etc?
We still have room for one more on the trip to Crich at the end of June, if you want to see the pros in action,and to enlarge our knowledge of 53, let us know.

We did our first exhibiton in Eastbourne on Saturday, the 21st. Made about £30, a very nice, well organised show, the main aim was to let more people know about 53. I was helped by John Bishop, and his wife Maureen, and Malcolm Chambers was not far away on the Pevensey Model railway stand, with Thomas the tank engine!!

Out at 53 today. Graz tram looks worse for wear, and the roof leaks are affecting the interior wood struts. I hope this tram can be saved. Did some more rust proofing on the other end cab steels, these look ok, but are rusting where the floor wood rests on them, not sure how severe this is. The new stands seem ok, and I cannot see any settling with the concrete sleepers, so that works!Also photograhed the interior wood work, inspection reveals wire runs and reinforcement for the sliding door area. We are defintely at the HCVS run on the 6th of May, Brighton seafront.

Didn't get out to 53 last Saturday, due to Easter, but I am out there this Thursday, the 19th, if you wish to join me! Don't forget, we are at Eastbourne Model rail show next Sat, and the AGM, is on the 29th .It looks like we are at the HCVS vehicle run to Brighton on the 6th of May, can anyone help me man the stand??

Not much to report. I am preparing an agenda for the AGM on the 29th, chasing shows that are not confirmed, and will be at the tram on Thursday the 19th of April, if anyone wishes to join me.It will be a general tidy up and a bit of painting. Eastbourne show is approaching on the 21st, see you there?!

My next day neighbour has kindly donated some of his old tools to the project.These include a huge wrench, drills, pipe bending gear,and a chain wrench, all Imperial sizes, thank you Brian!
