28th September.
Yes, surprise, I was out at 53 today! My wife and a friend of hers, Sandy, dropped by and Sandy liked 53 so much she has joined, nurses are always welcome at 53! John the farmer was going to help me shift the truck motors on to pallets but didn't turn up, but Tony B did and did some letter tracing. I continued on my steel quest, see pictures, glad it wasn't just me today.

Saturday 21 September 2013
21st September.
Out at 53 on my own, as I missed last week. De- rusted other long girder, took of the wood Malcolm couldn't shift, rust proofed that area, painted more primer and added more tarpaulins to the trucks and motors. John also popped in to see how the work was going, so a good day. Work day next week, I will be there, how about you?
Sunday 15 September 2013
14th of September.
I was not out at 53, but Malcolm, Brian and his wife were! Malcolm cut he grass around 225 and the truck, but the team replaced the broken windows on 225. Malcolm reports that his not sure if they will hold, I am out there next Saturday, so will check. Brian is also man of the match because the Prism application has gone out, he filled in the lot, let us hope.....

Riley's Railways, lavender line September 8th
Even though I had a superb breakfast at Cinders, the day was a washout. Despite some tarpaulins, the stock got wet at one point and we made just under £17, not a great result. There were a couple of quick downpours, so I went home early. At the moment stock is drying out downstairs, causing growls from the missus.
Tuesday 3 September 2013
September 3rd.
As I cannot make the next work party, I went out to 53 today with Roger. We removed wood, painted and covered the truck in preparation for winter. Pity we couldn't have a few extra hands to start cleaning and painting the truck.....
