29th of March.
Official work day, but only Malcolm and myself om site, a beautiful day as well! I added two parts of the missing roof section and Malcolm removed wood and together we unbolted the final steel and eased the wood out of the front girder. The front floor is now completely removed. The steel front girder has corrosion on the ends but is repairable and the company name is still very clear! A good days work for two, hope there is more next time.

22nd March 2014.
Tony M. and myself were out at 53 for a few hours. We took off another platform steel, only only one left , put up a key safe and tided up the area. I painted up the last boards for the roof whilst Tony removed the last sections of glass from the saloon. The wood that the glass rests on is shot, it moved in one area when we took the glass out.

March 8th.
Long day out at 53, we did the following; felt on roof, more lockers and a good tidy ,Roger started marking holes to be drilled on the new steels and the next phase was discussed, we are going to lift the body off the steels to ensure no trapped rust. A very good days work, thanks to all who helped and visited. Malcolm, on the way back form Cornwall, gave us a chemical toilet, different!
