Not a lot to report since last week, as you can see, snow has delayed everything! The truck might appear next weekend and we are organizing with John the farmer the delivery of the van body.Roger Sharman has been busy with new items to sell, so Modelworld should see a lot of new items. A list of work days will be issued once we can get out there again! We also finally found out why HM charities had stopped work on our application, so hopefully Ray is on the paper case again.

Went to look at a van body as a lock up for the society. It is 20 feet by 8 ft and with a stronger floor should be ok for the truck to live in, it is just a matter of getting on site! The truck was going to be on site tomorrow, but has been delayed, fine by me it could be better weather next week!

Dear all, it gives me great pleasure to announce that we signed the agreement for 53 tonight.As I mentioned in an earlier post, we had shaken on it already, but if any one doubted that, it is now signed and sealed.This means it is up to us all to make this happen, we have the green light, so if you haven't joined the society, or have not taken part, it is now time to do so, because it is all in our hands.

The Marriott(With Harry as the mastermind) family manned the stand at the Hove Engineerium today and we made a total of £83! A lot of interest was shown, it was a well attended show and a great start to the new year. There is another show there in early Feb, could we have some volunteers please?

A happy new year to you all! if you are visiting the Brighton and Hove Engineerium open day this Sunday, we are there!This is in Hove park , near Brighton and is a fantastic water pumping house that is been turned into a museum, well worth a visit.
We had thirteen members at the meeting last night, with a good exchange of ideas and all prizes been won in the quiz, a most devilish set of questions from El Presidente. More details will appear in the Jan newsletter on the meeting, but we need you to all take part. We need to be able to work on the tram and it's components, also the shed AND we need fundraisers or sponsor hounds. We need money and materials, so how about you? We could do with a few more people for Model world on the Friday, the 22nd of Feb.
